Ok, seriously. How fantastic is this?! Well I'll tell you, it's super stinking fantastic! However, the more I look at this site and all of its magnificently designed rooms, the more uncool a tiny apartment sounds. I've been spending the last three weeks of whatever piddly time I have studying every single apartment complex that Norfolk has. I have driven on everysquare inch of road that Norfolk has to offer, and I am apalled at the lack of advertising these apartments have. I'm about ready to advertise for them for free! This is ridiculous, surely there is an easier way to find apartments around these parts!.. right? And not only that, when I'm driving around searching for potential places to cram my furniture into, a few things occur:
1.) First: I've looked at so many apartments that I begin to associate large homes as being apartments. Possible scenario: "Excuse me sir, may I bunked down in the left wing of your home? Let's be honest you hardly ever go over there anyways..."
2.) Second: I start overlooking simple things like: "Senior Living," I think it's safe to say they don't mean "seniors" in college.
3.) Third: I start watching houses so much that I stop watching the road, increasing the chance of me getting into a car accident with a parked vehicle to about 90%. Does insurance cover stupidity? How about "zoning out while driving?"
I'm not giving up on my search though! I have furniture sitting in a storage shed waiting for me, and to be honest I miss my retro dining set. The thought of it spending it's nights by itself in a cold, dark and possibly damp storage room is upsetting. Wish me luck on my housing endeavor!
Your retro dining set is pretty sweeeet. :D Good luck Leah! I know you will find the most perfect and rad pad in Norfolk!
